EDWARDS is now 102 points ahead of Johnson, that's more than half a race win. If he keeps going he could definitely and deservedly wrap up his first Championship. New entries for BLISS in 49th (93 points) and WIMMER in 55th (49 points).
Nationwide and Truck Series bemuse me. EDWARDS and KYLE BUSCH lead respectively, but there's one thing that bugs me about that. BUSCH leads the Truck Series despite missing one race. In the Top 25 of the Nationwide there are six drivers who have missed one race or more (BUSCH being one of them). Once again a big indication of where the talent (and sponsorship) lies. A discussion in itself. SWINDELL debuts in 78th (70 points) in the Nationwide. New entries in the Trucks: CHRIS JONES (53rd, 67 points); LONG (55th, 64 points); FITZPATRICK (61st, 61 points); LAFFERTY (60th and last, 55 points).
