Another great race is in the can.

What have we learned? Besides Carl?s favorite Subway sandwich, we were reminded of the old Nascar adages: To finish first, you must first finish and get yourself in position to win. Mix in a little luck, and you?ve got yourself in victory lane.

Now to the Busch League. That may have been the most amazing ?Nationwide? Series race ever run. No offense intended, but Rowdy makes Earnhardt seem ordinary.

4.12.58: At Hub City Speedway in Spartanburg, Jr. Johnson finished 3rd. in his return from his 1 year vacation in Chillicothe, OH.

4.12.81: At Darlington, Harry Gant finished 2nd in his first start for Hal Needham?s MachI Racing.

4.9.89: After the Valleydale Meats 500, Nascar announced that in the future they would be reluctant to throw the caution unless a disabled car was resting on the racing surface. What ever happened to that policy?

If Ned were in the booth we?d know what?s up with Lyndon Amick.
