Before I go over the results, I will remind everyone how important is is to label your picks correctly. Last week, a player mislabeled his predictions for three classes. It would have been easy to resolve had he not confused his PC predictions, and as a result, he only picked three cars in what was actually the GTD class; consequently, he didn't receive points for either class. In the future, I strongly recommend you check your picks for each of the separate classes and have them labeled correctly.

Now that the unpleasant part is over...

Dodge led the way in the Prototype class, scoring 195 points, 70 more than The Long Shot in second. He was the only one to pick the #01 Ganassi car to finish first (imagine that). This was a stark contrast to the PC class, in which five players predicted the #54 car to win. Everyone scored either in excess of 150 points or less than 3, with NicoRosbergFan triumphing by correctly predicting second-place as well. He also took the MIPA in the GTLM class, though the results were vastly different. He only scored 75 points, as he was the only player to pick any car correctly (the #55 in third). No one else scored more than 45 points, out of a possible 450 points. As for the GTD class, riven3d crushed the competition by picking the #44 and #555 to finish in first and second-place, racking up 300 points and the class MIPA, as well as the overall MIPA. In the overall round of competition, he won by a margin of 255 points!

After two rounds, riven3d has put considerable distance between himself and the competition in the overall standings. In addition, he holds a 225 point lead in the GTD class. The Long Shot maintains his lead by 65 in the flagship Prototype class, ahead of a surging Dodge. The lead in the Prototype Challenge class has flip-flopped, as NicoRosbergFan now leads by a comparatively slender margin of 40 points. The lead of myself, David, in the GTLM class, has been cut by 45 points, in spite of the low-scoring round.

The leads of NicoRosbergFan and riven3d in their respective classes are safe for the moment, as the next race, April 12 at Long Beach, will showcase only the Prototype and Grand Touring Le Mans classes.

Until we meet again.
