Just thought I'd start a page for people to post their goodbyes to Dario Franchitti, the 4-time IndyCar champ and 3-time Indy 500 winner who has had to retire from racing early (aged 40!) after those injuries from his horrible crash at Houston are a step too far for him to continue.
31 wins in CART/IndyCar isn't too bad for a Scot, and frankly we'll miss him. I hope he sticks around the American racing scene for a bit longer though, even if he doesn't race. He's a motorsports legend and frankly we're going to miss him in some way.
So cheers Dario, for making me proud to be a Brit.
