"2013 Predictor Cups"

I promised a post about a month before the Rolex 24 about next year's predictor cups, so here it is. As a warning, I will be hosting picks for the Rolex Sports Car Series, the American Le Mans Series, the IZOD IndyCar Series, and the Formula One World Championship. I will combine all of weekend's series into one post, so if all four series are racing that weekend, I will only do one post for the predictions. Likewise, the results and the predictions for the next will be together.

Onto the rules!

Rolex Sports Car Series rules:

Daytona Prototype and GX classes-
Predict top-3 cars (by number)
Cars that finish in top-3, but aren't exact, 5 points
1st exact, 25 points
2nd exact, 10 points
3rd exact, 5 points

GT class (about twice as many cars as DP and GX combined)-
Predict top-5 cars (by number)
Cars that finish in top-5, but aren't exact, 5 points
1st exact, 50 points
2nd exact, 25 points
3rd exact, 15 points
4th exact, 10 points
5th exact, 5 points

Exact pick bonuses quadrupled for Daytona (due to longer distance) and doubled for Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen (subject to your approval, please voice opinions on this in the comment box).
There will be separate championships for DP, GT, and GX, with the total of all three series counting towards the overall. So each championship gets its own MIPAs, win total, and champions. Wins in each class get counted in the overall championship win total.

American Le Mans Series rules:
All classes (LMP1, LMP2, LMPC, GT, and GTC)
Predict top-3 cars (by number)
Cars that finish in top-3, but aren't exact, 5 points
1st exact, 25 points
2nd exact, 10 points
3rd exact, 5 points

Exact picks for the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans have double value.

Formula One rules:
Exact same as 24over48's rules, but I will count up the MIPAs. The way I see it, MIPA holds more value than wins because while possibly everyone could have the same winner, only one person can have the most impressive picks for that week. Thus, MIPAs are the first tiebreaker before wins.

IZOD IndyCar Series rules:
Exact same as 24over48's rules, but I will count up the MIPAs. The way I see it, MIPA holds more value than wins because while possibly everyone could have the same winner, only one person can have the most impressive picks for that week. Thus, MIPAs are the first tiebreaker before wins.
There will be predictions for Indy 500 pole, with all correct guesses getting 13 points.
