"Bold Propositions"

I am ready to make some bold propositions about two things: the first is IndyCar, and the second is the predictor cups.

IndyCar is making a big mistake with lots of repercussions. Why in the name of the seven mad gods who rule the sea did they come this far to contemplate naming the race at Auto Club Speedway the IZOD IndyCar World Championships?! They put that kind of hype into a race last year, and we lost Dan Wheldon as a result. I think they just call it the IZOD 500 or IZOD Final or something like that, but don't reuse the race name that called into question the sanctioning of racing worldwide.

For the predictor cups, I am really disgusted with predictions. Draco has about 10, 24over48 gets about 25 for Cup and 10-15 for NNS and CWTS, and I get 7 for IndyCar and F1 and 4 for Grand-Am. I know this is a small community, but there must be some method to make these grow. My propositions: in addition to considering Facebook, perhaps our contests should expand to some big-box blogging site; I know it isn't exactly the most popular form of communication, but if ESPN uses it, why couldn't we? Is there some way these contests can grow? The concern here isn't the small numbers, but rather that the numbers are falling off. I am not saying I will do anything, but I will consider all propositions.
